Local SEO that starts with your Google Business Profile.
When someone nearby searches for what you do, Google answers with a map and a short list of businesses. No one can honestly promise you a spot on that list, and we won’t. What we can do is make sure Google and your customers find the same accurate facts about you everywhere: a complete profile, listings that agree and reviews that get a reply. Marnovo is based in Hampstead, NC, and does this work for service businesses anywhere.
What’s included
- Google Business Profile setup and upkeep. We claim or create your profile, pick the right categories and fill in your services, hours, service area and photos, with a link to your website. Then we keep it current as the business changes.
- Listing and citation cleanup. Your business shows up in places you never set up, from Apple Maps and Bing to Yelp, Facebook and the directories your trade uses. Each of those is a citation. We find them and fix the ones that are wrong.
- The same hours and phone number everywhere. Your profile, your website and every listing should agree, down to the holiday hours. When one detail changes, we update it everywhere.
- Review responses. Replies to your reviews in your voice: thanks for the good ones, and a calm, specific answer to the bad ones, written for the next person reading.
How it works
- We search for you the way a customer would, on Google, Apple Maps and the directories in your trade, and note every place the details disagree.
- The profile comes first, since it’s often the first thing a customer sees. If Google asks you to verify that the business is yours, we walk you through it.
- Then the listings, one at a time. Some directories update quickly and some take a while, so we check back until they match.
- Then upkeep: new hours, new photos and replies to new reviews.
Who it’s for
Any service business that customers find by searching nearby, from a shop with a front door to a crew that drives to the job. It matters most if you’ve moved, changed your number or your name, added a location or never claimed your profile.
With several locations, each one gets its own profile and its own page on your site. Each of our three concept projects, built for fictional businesses, has a page for every place it serves: each city for the roofer, each clinic for the med spa and each office for the law firm.
What it costs
Google Business Profile setup or cleanup comes with every Style starter site, which is five pages for $300.
Listing cleanup and review responses are priced per business, because one location with tidy records needs far less work than three with years of old listings. We’ll give you a price on the demo call.
The care plan, $99 a month, keeps your website and your Google Business Profile current as your hours and services change, so the two keep agreeing. Both prices are founding-client prices, introductory prices for our first ten clients.
How it connects to your website and brand
Your profile links to your website, and the two should say the same thing. A page for each main service gives Google something specific to match a search against, and we plan websites with that in mind. The logo and photos on your profile should match your sign and your site, too. If they don’t yet, brand work and photography direction are where that starts.
